PHOTOS from the Dance contest "Strength of Nine Men" | 11.07.2019
Thursday, July 11, marked the second time for the Dance Contest taking place in the framework of the International Dance Festival “Sudmaliņas”. The contestants were evaluated by an international jury: Rita Spalva (Latvia), Paul Bobkov(Estonia), Loida Grau (Spain), Volodymyr Grek (Ukraine), and Jānis Ērglis (Latvia).
The participants of the contest came from Indonesia, India, Cyprus, Poland, Serbia, Chile, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Latvia. Each dance group performed two dances based on the national choreographic and musical heritage. Winners of the Contest will be announced during the Closing concert in Liepaja on Sunday, July 14.
