Folk Dance Ensemble of the Austral University of Chile (Valdivia)

The folk dance ensemble of the Austral University of Chile was established in 1979 under the guidance of Julio Mariangel Toledo. Back then, it was the only dance ensemble of a kind in Southern Chile. Already in 1984 the ensemble went on its first international concert tour, but since then it has performed in many places in Chile and abroad, including Argentina, Mexico, Japan, Italy, Peru, Columbia, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, France, China, Turkey, Belgium, Switzerland, Bulgaria and Serbia.
